Welcome to chaplaincy in Presentation College, Bray, Co. Wicklow. Please read on to explore the background to, and the role of the Chaplain in our school.

The communities represented in Presentation College are rich in culture, tradition, faith and spirituality.

 As a school community, our aim is to nurture all who attend the College. Our school is a Catholic school with a strong Christian ethos. Our school seeks to imbue a sense of respect for one another, for our school environment and for the whole community in which we live.

As a faith presence in the school, his role is a pastoral one. Along with the Principal and the other members of staff, he is concerned with the care and support of all students of the school paying particular attention to their spiritual needs. The Chaplain is a member of staff with commitments to the school’s Religious Education Department and the co-ordination of religious worship during the year. Central to the Chaplain’s role is contact with students, staff and parents. Through class work, individual meetings and involvement in student activities, he tries to meet as many as possible and to be available to all
